about me.

i'm zannah.

i moved to incheon, south korea in november of 2011 to teach english, and even though i only planned on being there for one year, i ended up staying for three.

i started this blog to document the adventures and happenings of my life in the land of kimchi for myself and for my family. since starting the blog, i've realized my readership is much wider than people that i actually know, so i hope this blog will be helpful and entertaining to anyone else in korea or thinking of traveling here.

i left korea in november 2014, and then spent a year in new zealand on a working holiday visa.

as of late february 2016, i've officially repatriated to the united states, where i'm planning to stay for the time being.

this blog will stay active, and i'll try to moderate comments as best i can. however, since i'm no longer in korea and hip to the latest info, old entries will not be updated to reflect current changes in information/etc. that being said, i hope this blog will continue to remain useful!

enjoy and thanks for reading!

  2. Your blog is awesome! I have taken like 3days to read everything you have experienced in Korea through your blog. I am from the Philippines and I have always been interested in travelling to Korea and interested in teaching English like you. Although I am not a teacher, just planning. I hope you would continue blogging gives me so much inspiration on how I look at Korea as a whole. *two thumbs up!*
